Organizations and governments across the world employ a variety of voluntary, regulatory and legislative means to increase the number of women directors on corporate boards. From media campaigns asking companies to hire more women directors to enacting laws requiring it, worldwide interest in board diversity had led to initiatives aimed at addressing disparities.
