Narvey's research focuses on corrections, criminological theory, and developmental psychopathology. Specifically, Narvey does work on telemedicine and teleservices more broadly and how they can be used in correctional settings as well as in reentry and reintegration. Overarching themes in Narvey's writings include correctional treatment, psychopathy and offending, and using theory to understand criminal behavior. Narvey has served as the President of the Criminology Graduate Student Assocation and is the Graduate Student Fellow for the UT Dallas Chapter of Scholars Strategy Network.
