About Celestine
Ofori-Parku's research focuses on reproductive justice, reproductive health, and providing respectful maternal care to reduce maternal mortality and morbidity in marginalized populations. Ofori-Parku served as a team member of WHO's Global Maternal Sepsis Study from 2017-2018 in Ghana. She also participated as a consultant on WHO's International Consultation on the New WHO Partograph. Ofori-Parku is an ACTIONS predoctoral fellow, a Bixby communication and Advocacy fellow, and a UCSF Bixby Center affiliate member. She was a UCSF student ambassador for Center for Gender & Health Justice at University of California Global Health Institute. She is currently a Graduate Student Researcher with MILK Research Lab at UCSF.
