Clark Peters, PhD, MSW, JD, an associate professor at the University of Missouri School of Social Work and Truman School of Government and Public Affairs, focuses his work primarily on child welfare, adolescents in state care, and juvenile justice. He has presented, taught, and written widely on issues of juvenile justice, foster care, and child welfare. His current research work focuses on youths transitioning from foster care, developing financial capability among disadvantaged young people, and elevating community-engaged research in academic settings.
