Examines the impacts of firearm violence in the U.S. over the past 25 years, exploring the short-term, long-term, and cumulative effects across physical, psychological, social, and economic domains. Findings show that most research focuses on short-term psychological effects on direct survivors and witnesses, while long-term and broader community impacts are under-studied.
