About Eliza
Galvez’s scholarly pursuits are centered on culturally-relevant behavioral health prevention programs for Latino/a/x and undocumented communities in non-traditional states. Galvez’s scholarship is driven through her previous work with underrepresented communities in various non-profit agencies and health systems focused on their mental health. Additionally, Galvez actively engages in community-based presentations to raise mental health awareness among marginalized communities.
Galvez is a doctoral fellow for the CSWE Minority Fellowship Program.
