About Kimberly
Dr. Allen centers her work on faculty leadership development with a focus on empowering leaders and cultivating communities of belonging, growth, and purpose. Trained as a family scientist and coaching psychologist, she approaches her work from a strengths-based perspective with particular attention to resilience, thriving, and human potential. Her scholarship explores family systems, interpersonal relations, family life coaching, and program development. She is the author of Theory, Research, and Practical Guidelines for Family Life Coaching and Co-Author Family Life Coaching Handbook.
