About Meghan

Scarlott's research focuses on gender and violence. Her work with the Initiative for Gender Equity in the Public Sector has centered around gender inclusion in the public sector, with a focus on good practices in a post-pandemic context. Scarlott's Master's thesis focused on involuntary celibates (incels) and how their views on violence and masculinity compare to those of non-incels. Scarlott graduated from George Washington University with a B.S. in International Affairs and a B.A. in Psychology, and graduated from John Jay College of Criminal Justice with a Master's in Forensic Psychology.
