About Nelia

Viveiros’ scholarship focuses on organizational development with a focus on change and trauma. She has authored work in the Journal of Family Violence, Inside Higher Ed, Feminist Criminology, the Journal of Loss and Trauma and co-edited a book with Cognella titled: “Incivility in Higher Education”. Dr. Viveiros is a recipient of various leadership awards, including inclusion in The Marquis Who’s Who Publications Board (2024). She has taught a variety of courses including a Master’s Research Capstone, Access and Equity in Higher Education, and U.S. Higher Education Legal and Historical Context.
