Her most recent research focuses on the effect of Countering Violent Extremism and Counter Terrorism policies on these communities and their interaction with the government. Gillum is a Fellow at Stanford's Immigration Policy Lab; an Advisor at the Institute for Social Policy and understanding and Regional Director of the Truman National Security Project.
