About Sarah

Lenhoff's research focuses on education policy implementation, educational access, and continuous improvement. Overarching themes in Lenhoff's writings include the effects of school choice policy on equitable opportunities for students; the causes of and emerging solutions to reduce student absenteeism; and the ecological factors that intersect with education policy to produce student outcomes. Lenhoff leads the Detroit Education Research Partnership and serves on the core team of the Every School Day Counts Detroit coalition. She is also a faculty affiliate with the National Center for Research on Education Access and Choice (REACH).
