About Sherice
Nelson's research interests include Black political leadership, Black women as political agents, and the Black experience throughout the Diaspora. She is a proud alumnus of the distinguished Howard University, where she received her Doctorate of Philosophy in Political Science specializing in International Relations, Black Politics, and American Government. Nelson is a leadership scholar as her dissertation discussed the leadership styles of Hillary Clinton and Dr. Madeleine Albright respectively. She is a professor, and most recently taught at St. Mary's College of California. Because Nelson has only been educated at Historically Black Colleges and Universities, their continuous strength and existence are of great importance to her. She earned her Masters of Public Administration at the University of the District of Columbia and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a dual degree in History and English from Stillman College in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
