Natalie Griffith-Shafer

Natalie joined the Scholars Strategy Network as a Policy Associate in May 2026. In this role, Natalie helps scholars convey their research to litigators, civic organizations, policymakers, and the public in ways that can inform litigation outcomes and public policy.

Before joining SSN, Natalie worked as a Staff Attorney in the Education Unit of the Justice Center of Southeast Massachusetts. As a Staff Attorney, they engaged in direct representation, administrative litigation, policy advocacy and community outreach related to education law and policy. They also have a background in reproductive justice impact litigation through their work at the Women’s Law Project.

Natalie earned a J.D. at Boston University School of Law in 2024. They enjoy watching movies, going for walks, and spending time with their husband and their two cats, Trout and Olive.
