Sunnie Hodge

Sunnie Hodge joined the Scholars Strategy Network as a Policy Associate in June 2025. In this role, she supports scholars in using their research to inform health policy at the local, state, and federal levels.

Before joining SSN, Sunnie worked as a Public Health Analyst at RTI International, where she contributed to the implementation and evaluation of Medicare and Medicaid policies. She has also been involved in community health efforts through community-based research and as a volunteer supporting LGBTQ+ youth.

Sunnie holds a Master of Public Health from Boston University, where she focused on designing, implementing, and evaluating programs to advance health equity. Based in Providence, RI, she enjoys dancing, crafting, and cooking.
