"Requests for Abortion in Latin America Related to Concern about Zika Virus Exposure" (with Rebecca Gomperts, James Trussell, Marc Worrell, and Catherine E. Aiken). The New England Journal of Medicine 375 (2016): 396-398.

Provides the first evidence that unmet demand for abortion in Latin America was exacerbated in the wake of the Zika virus pandemic. Findings highlight the problems with advising women to avoid pregnancy but providing them with no feasible means of doing so.
