About Lan

Bio: Ðoàn’s research centers on the structural determinants of health and has focused on cardiovascular disease and psychosocial factors among Asian American older adults, and how neighborhood deprivation modifies the impact of these determinants. Her recent work focuses on high-risk Asian American populations for COVID-19 infection. Overarching themes in Ðoàn’s writings include aging, data disaggregation, immigrant health, and social environments. Ðoàn serves on the board of the Aging and Public Health Section (APH) and Asian and Pacific Islander Caucus for Public Health (APIC), in affiliation with the American Public Health Association (APHA).
