About Elizabeth
Vaquera's research focuses on issues affecting Latinos in the U.S., Immigrants, and Immigration Policy. Overarching theme's in Vaquera's writings include social and emotional health of immigrant populations, particularly Latinos. Vaquera serves as Board Member of Believe in Students (BIS), is a volunteer interpreter for KIND (Kids in Need of Defense), and serves on the Board of the U.S-Spain Council.
