About Emily
Diamond is an Assistant Professor in the departments of Communication Studies and Marine Affairs at the University of Rhode Island. She holds a doctorate in environmental policy from Duke University; with a professional background in sustainability project management; policy research; and change management consulting. As a researcher; she focuses on environmental communication; media; and public opinion. Her work investigates how communication strategies can build support for climate change policies; and how identities impact support for environmental policies.
