Hatcher’s research focuses on the administrative features of health policy, community development, and public finance and budgeting. His research has appeared in journals such as American Journal of Public Health, Public Administration Review, American Review of Public Administration, and Journal of Public Affairs Education. Hatcher serves as chair of Augusta University’s Department of Social Sciences and professor of public administration.
