About Britah

Britah Odondi is the Voting & Election Policy Associate at the Scholars Strategy Network. In her role she works to empower university scholars to encourage their institutions to adopt best practices for civic engagement.

Prior to SSN, Britah served as a graduate coordinator for the Office of Civic and Voter Engagement at Montclair State University. During that time she spearheaded the initiative for the University to become designated as a Voter Friendly Campus by NASPA-Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education and the Fair Election Center’s Campus Vote Project. She then served as a legal assistant at  a boutique law firm specializing in providing full-service creditors’ rights and real estate legal services at both the state and federal level. Most recently she acted as a field organizer for the New Jersey Democratic State Committee coordinated campaign in building a stronger and fairer New Jersey.

Britah is a two-time alumnus of Montclair State University, where she obtained a Master of Arts degree in Law and Governance, and a Bachelor's degree in political science.
