About Miguel
Cardona is interested in attaining equitable educational outcomes through policy aimed at providing technical changes and value alignment. He develops state government and private inter-agency collaborations in order to meet shared needs. Cardona has taught university courses on creating a culture for success in a district and school system. He is a Chairperson of Connecticut’s Legislative Achievement Gap Task Force and on the Board of Directors for the Meriden-Wallingford Chrysalis Domestic Violence Services. Cardona also serves on the Minority Teacher Recruitment Committee for the Connecticut State Department of Education.
