Welcome to Bay Area SSN

About the chapter

Bay Area SSN was launched in 2010, bringing together an engaged, interdisciplinary group of scholars from across the region. Drawing on the research of local participants, SSN members from other regions, and invited guests, we seek to contribute to more effective public policy and enhanced citizen engagement. Among particular areas of interest are poverty and inequality, immigration, and the quality of governance at the local, state and national level.
